pump.fun data in ChatGPT: add pumpdata.fun as a connector

·

How do I get pump.fun data in ChatGPT?

Add https://pumpdata.fun/mcp to ChatGPT as a custom connector (an MCP server, no authentication) in developer mode. ChatGPT can then call pumpdata.fun's tools itself: check a coin's dev before you buy, find which coin a ticker means, read yesterday on pump.fun, look a wallet up by its whole record. The checks are free and need no key or wallet.

Add it to ChatGPT

  1. On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Apps (called Connectors on some accounts), then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Back in Apps, choose Create. Name: pumpdata.fun. MCP server URL: https://pumpdata.fun/mcp. Authentication: No authentication. Tick that you trust the app, then create it. ChatGPT lists the tools below.
  3. In a new chat, open the + menu, choose Developer mode and turn pumpdata.fun on. Paste a contract address and ask.

Menus move between ChatGPT versions; the parts that do not change are developer mode, the URL and no authentication.

Things to ask

  • Check this pump.fun coin before I buy: CSocnzcRpgSCr1naKcNTieWZUxb6rABe45j844m7pump
  • Which $KIMCHI is the real one? Show me each with its dev's record.
  • How did pump.fun do yesterday? The busiest coins and the deployers behind them.
  • This dev just launched again: 8R4kXgBxtgcLVd8fDszd9qs8KkwUZdS4jeKU11qpiwqq. How did their last ten coins go?
  • Of coins that reached a $15K market cap last week, how many went on to $100K?

"Free allowance": 30 calls every five minutes and 300 a day without a key, shared by every assistant calling without one; with a free key, 2,000 a day of your own. Every answer carries X-Data-As-Of, how fresh the data is.

Claude, Claude Code and Cursor

In Claude (claude.ai), open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste https://pumpdata.fun/mcp. In code editors:

# Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http pumpdata https://pumpdata.fun/mcp
# with a free key (2,000 calls a day of your own: https://pumpdata.fun/keys)
claude mcp add --transport http pumpdata https://pumpdata.fun/mcp --header "x-api-key: pdk_..."

# Cursor: ~/.cursor/mcp.json
{ "mcpServers": { "pumpdata": { "url": "https://pumpdata.fun/mcp" } } }

Grok has no connectors; it has a Grok Bot template that calls the same free endpoints. For Telegram, @pumpdatafun_bot.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes, for the checks: check_coin, find_coin, stats and top_wallets are free, and the record calls run on a free allowance of 30 calls every five minutes and 300 a day, which every assistant and cloud agent calling without a key shares. A free key (pumpdata.fun/keys) gives 2,000 calls a day of your own, in a client that can send a header (Claude Code, Cursor). Only replay is paid.

Which ChatGPT plans can add it?

Custom connectors need developer mode, which OpenAI offers on the web to Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts; on a workspace plan an admin may have to allow it. On the free plan, ChatGPT can still read pumpdata.fun's pages when you paste a coin's address and ask it to check pumpdata.fun.

Does it see my wallet or my chats?

No. The connector has no login and no wallet. ChatGPT sends the tool its arguments (a coin address, a ticker, a wallet to look up) and reads the answer; pumpdata.fun keeps a count per call and nothing of the chat.

What data is behind it?

Every pump.fun trade, ever: the bonding curve and PumpSwap, read from the chain, with each coin's deployer, its first ten seconds and its holders. How each field is made is on the methodology page.

The calls behind the tools: the pump.fun API. The same check on a page, no AI needed: the free coin check.
